We are seeking a Country Manager for our regional research office based in Russia – Moscow.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will work closely with our global management team in managing the regional office.
  • The Country Manager will be responsible for managing the Moscow team.
  • Motivating research staff to maximize productivity and creativity.
  • Working with research directors in US and in other countries to help the researchers in Russia achieve top performance.
  • Creating a working environment of enthusiasm, entrepreneurship and collegiality.
  • Recruiting top research talent and managing accounting and other general and administrative tasks.
  • Act as local director, handle all office-related issues and ensure smooth day-to-day running of the office and ensure news flow to local staff
  • Manage all corporate projects, liaising with professional advisors where appropriate
  • Cross departmental co-ordination of employee salaries, benefits, bonuses and assist with local recruitment processes
  • Plan and enable team specific and office training, team building and social activities
  • Prepare and follow local corporate/office budgets/forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulatory and corporate governance requirements.

Job Qualification: 

  • Master degree or higher in engineering, science or mathematics required; a technical degree from a leading university from Russia or any other European or US University is preferred.
  • MBA or Phd is a plus.
  • 10 or more years of experience managing professional staffs, including quantitative finance researchers, engineers, mathematicians, and/or research scientists.
  • Strong work ethic and leadership.
  • Ability to promote the company, and hire top talent from the best universities in Russia and in other countries.
  • Experience working in a research department is a plus. and
  • Entrepreneurial experience is a plus.

Country Manager – Switzerland – Lucerne

Our Client is a leading global Investment management firm headquartered in US looking to set up their operations in European  region. As a part of the expansion plan we are looking to hire a Country Manager to be based in Switzerland – Lucerne. Successful hire would be responsible for managing the local entity based in Lucerne working closely with the Leadership team   based in the headquartered.

Software Development Manager – US-CT-Greenwich

Job Summary:
We are looking for intelligent and articulate individuals who have experience leading, motivating and inspiring others to create high quality, innovative software solutions. The team led by this role is responsible for all aspects of the software development life cycle, from design to testing to deployment.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a global team of developers implementing software tools used by trading and middle-office operations teams, supporting global trading desks.
Analyze business and technical requirements; develop software solutions to address business needs in a high-paced, agile development environment.
Develop and oversee software development standards and processes employed by the team.
Liaise directly with stakeholders across the business from Portfolio Managers to Risk to Senior Management.
Work with end users for deployment and training.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related engineering discipline
3+ years of experience managing software developers in an Equity, FX or Futures trading environment
10+ years of experience developing complex software solutions in Linux/Unix environments
Strong programming skills, with in-depth understanding of software engineering discipline
Advanced knowledge of Perl and Python a plus
Strong experience in DBMS
Demonstrable experience managing software projects through to successful completion.
Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
A software development professional with a strong, technical and leadership background is preferred.

Successful hire will be responsible for 

  • Develop scripts for adhoc trading and market analyses.
  • Review and enhance capital allocation models.
  • Analyze trader and strategy performance in multiple asset classes and systematic strategy styles.
  • Monitor systematic strategies in live trading environment.
  • Develop and maintain release protocol for systematic trading software.
  • Develop and maintain risk reports.
  • Create tools to evaluate trader-specific and firm-wide risk. 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT – 

  • Must have at least two years of experience in a quantitative analyst or similar position in financial services firm.
  • Possess superb programming skills, preference for C++ and Python.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with working on Linux and Windows.
  • Exhibit superb attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Possess a Ph.D. or M.S. degree from a top tier institution in Mathematics, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.
