Job Description:
As a Java Developer you will work as a specialist with sound technical expertise of the Java Enterprise platform and are a competent partner for our customers in all technological issues. You can expect an interesting, self-responsible role in the full lifecycle of applications you.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of customer needs and creating technical specifications
- Conception, design, development and deployment of sophisticated custom Java Solutions
- Close cooperation with the business and IT departments of our customers to develop customized solutions and presentation of solutions for the customer
- Technical responsibility, including process and quality assurance, testing, test automation and documentation
- Collaboration on complex architectural concepts
- Desired participation in open source projects
- Use of the latest development tools and methodologies (Agile, ATDD)
Experience and knowledge
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in developing Java Enterprise applications to leading application servers (JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere)
- Experience in technical consulting
- Java EE Web Profile Technologies (z. B. EJB, JPA and CDI), knowledge of frameworks such as JBoss Seam or Spring beneficial
- Experience with UI frameworks, such. As JavaServer Faces or GWT
- Experience with the latest web technologies (HTML 5, angularjs, SASS) is an advantage
- Experience with integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, and JMS
- Experience with UI frameworks such as JavaServer Faces or GWT
- Strong analytical skills and openness to new technologies
- High quality awareness and pragmatic mindset
- Teamwork and social skills
- Self-employed, solution-oriented and structured approach
- Severe customer orientation
- Willingness to travel (German-speaking Switzerland)
- Bachelor, Master in computer science, software engineering or related field
- Good English and German skills
